Description
A stable oxygen level in irrigation water is important for a healthy root environment and good water quality. Especially in larger water systems, the oxygen level can come under pressure due to temperature, organic load, stagnation, or biofilm formation. This can affect water quality and the conditions around the roots.
The O2Solutions Artemis enriches water with oxygen and nanobubbles using patented VPOD nanobubble technology. The system draws in water, passes it through the VPOD reactor under high pressure, and then returns the oxygen-rich water to the water system. A pressure diffuser plate ensures the treated water is optimally mixed with the untreated water.
The Artemis is suitable for, among other things, hydroponic growing systems, large DFT systems, irrigation systems, water silos, rainwater basins, and larger water systems. The built-in control system regulates the VPOD process based on an external start and stop signal, a built-in timer, or optional dissolved oxygen measurement. The Artemis comes standard with an integrated oxygen concentrator featuring a built-in oil-free compressor.
For applications where oxygen enrichment of water in silos or water basins is desired, Van der Ende Group also offers the O2Solutions Triton nanobubble system. This compact model is mounted directly on the outer wall of a water silo and is suitable for, among other things, drain water silos, daily supply silos, rainwater silos, and DFT water basins.
