Description
Paper belt filters are widely applicable for filtering various water streams. The system uses a filter cloth, also referred to as filter medium. This filter medium provides physical separation, whereby contaminants larger than the pores of the selected filter cloth remain on the cloth.
The paper belt filters are available with filter cloth in various filtration grades, ranging from approximately 15 to 50 microns. The filter medium is supplied on rolls of approximately 100 meters. The width of the filter cloth depends on the type of paper belt filter.
Within this capacity range, Van der Ende Group supplies two types of paper belt filters: the flat bed filter and the deep bed filter. Flat bed filters are particularly suitable for coarse contamination and smaller discharge flows. Deep bed filters are better suited for light, fine contamination and larger discharge flows within this capacity range.
