Van der Ende Group is a real Westland family company and a firmly established player in national and international greenhouse horticulture. With a variety of solutions, both standard and customised, for climate and water challenges in high-tech greenhouse horticulture, our product portfolio offers an excellent response to current global developments. In addition to greenhouse horticulture, our company also operates in other sectors, including construction & contracting, industry and the public and semi-public sector.

The company has expanded over the years and is now a medium-sized family business, employing around 120 colleagues. Van der Ende Group consists of various business units and has several sites in the Netherlands (Maasdijk head office and Oss location), Belgium (Lochristi location) and Canada (Kingsville location).

Our vision

The company was founded in 1985 by Piet van der Ende. He started by repairing and overhauling water pumps for the greenhouse horticulture sector, but soon branched out into the sale of new pumps and related equipment. Alongside these more traditional items, he also launched the first innovative products. As the business continued to grow, in 1987 the company moved to the premises on Maasambacht in Maasdijk.

The present Van der Ende Group was formed as a result of new companies being established or acquired: Van der Ende THO in Oss, Phyto-Drip BV, Van der Lubbe Metaal, Moor Filtertechniek and Artemis. The company’s activities and product range expanded rapidly, both nationally and internationally. It therefore moved again in 2018, to an A-list location on the Coldenhove business park in Maasdijk. A formal change of management also took place in the summer of the same year: Piet’s son Lex succeeded him as the managing director, heralding the start of another new phase for Van der Ende Group.

Van der Ende Group’s location in Maasdijk has many disciplines under one roof. This allows us to autonomously develop our own products, from idea through to actual delivery. Our repair & overhaul department also makes it possible to provide added value for all our customers. Flexible, fast and solution-oriented.
