Description
The ECOfilter filters water using filter cloth. This filter cloth provides physical separation, whereby contaminants larger than the pores of the selected filter cloth remain on the cloth. Depending on the application and the desired filtration level, filtration down to 5 microns is possible.
The contaminated water passes through the cloth under pressureless conditions, leaving contaminants behind while the filtered water continues through the system. When the filter cloth becomes saturated, the system automatically advances to a clean section of filter cloth. This maintains filtration capacity without the need for backwashing.
Because no backwash water is used, the filtration process remains simple and straightforward. The contaminants remain concentrated in the used filter cloth and are discharged to the collection tray.
When the filter roll is completely used up, it can be manually replaced.
