Description
The purpose of the Verti-Fan system is to create vertical air movement for uniform heat distribution, without disturbing the crop with excessive air movement. The excess heat that often accumulates at the top of the greenhouse is directed downwards through a hose and released underneath the crop. This heat is then utilised, which can result in significant energy savings. The upward air movement through the crop activates the plants to achieve better CO₂ absorption. The humidity is also decreased, reducing the risk of fungal diseases.
