Description
Within ultrafiltration installations, the membrane forms the core of the filtration process. The XF64 uses a hydrophilic hollow-fiber membrane in which water is filtered from the inside to the outside through the membrane fibers. This creates a robust mechanical barrier against microorganisms and suspended solids, while dissolved salts and nutrients are retained.
Thanks to the high membrane density and antifouling behavior, the filtration capacity remains stable, even with water flows of varying quality, such as drain or process water. The strong chemical resistance allows for regular cleaning, which contributes to a long operational life within ultrafiltration systems.
The XF64 is used as a replacement membrane and as an integral part of professional ultrafiltration solutions for water reuse and process water treatment.
