BRL: quality-driven maintenance
The BRL-K14020 guideline is a Dutch certification standard developed by KIWA for quality-driven maintenance of pump installations. With the BRL guideline Van der Ende Group meets the requirements for performing quality-driven maintenance on pump installations and pumping stations. As a certified contractor, we work according to fixed standards. The guideline was drawn up by KIWA. The technical advisory committee includes representatives from various stakeholders in the field of pump installation maintenance. These include not only KIWA’s own experts, but also responsible employees from municipalities, consultancies, and contractors.
The guideline describes the requirements that employees and equipment must meet and the points on which installations and pumps must be assessed. The annual audit consists of an office part and field inspections.
We are one of 23 contractors in the Netherlands that are authorized to carry this certificate. We carry out many projects on behalf of Dutch municipal and provincial authorities, and for those authorities, having the certificate is a requirement.
