Freddy was founded in 1962, supplying the UK and USA with the famous Mark I filtration machines, an extension of the de la Pena Oil brand. Since then, the Freddy family has designed and manufactured industrial vacuum cleaners and coolant filtration machines, from the compact and adaptable Superminor, to the robust “great filtrator” Mark 5, all designed to remove, filter and return coolant for longer life and improved machining results.
Freddy acquired Industrial VacAir in 2001 to support growth in the growing dry vacuum market and have since continued to build on the dry vacuum range, including ATEX and HEPA filtration for use with hazardous substances.
With the Freddy mobile chip, liquid suction and filter systems you can very efficiently empty the coolant reservoir of a machine tool, remove the chips and at the same time filter the coolant to max. 30 microns.
In the Freddy the filtered coolant is separated from the chips, stored in a liquid tank and can be fed back directly into the coolant reservoir.
The Freddy is very fast, cleaning a machine and reservoir takes on average no longer than 15 minutes. Cleaning the same machine by hand takes at least 2 hours and the result is then significantly less.
Freddy fluid filtration
The Freddy mobile fluid filtration and vacuum systems are used for fast, thorough removal of chips and fluid from machine tool sumps, while simultaneously filtering the coolant.
